Bronwyn Harman conducts research in two main areas:

1. Families with young children,

Specifically:
The “good mother syndrome” and teenage parents
Cultural factors that influence the “good mother syndrome”
Playgroup, resilience, and families with young children
Factors that affect modern Australian families        

2. Student experiences of study

Specifically:
Peer mentoring programs
The challenges of off-campus study
Comparative studies of on-campus and off-campus studies
Student attrition           

Bronwyn is a member of the Lifespan Resilience Research Group.
