Parenting Day Workshop

 

Presenters: Lynne Lucas and Helen Bosisto coordinate the delivery of the Triple P Program for the Department of Education in Western Australia. They are both school psychologists and jointly have over 35 years of experience in working with the organisation, schools, parents and children. They are both parents and enthusiastic Triple P facilitators.

 

 

Triple P is an evidence based parenting program that promotes positive, caring relationships between parents and their children. It is available in Western Australia through the Department of Education and the Department of Health.  Lynne and Helen will provide an overview of Triple P and how to access Triple P training in schools and the community. Today, they will also present the first Triple P seminar entitled "The Power of Positive Parenting". Topics to be covered include the hopes and dreams we have for our children, the challenge of managing children's behaviour and the five key principles of positive parenting.
