Biography

Kate Hadwen is a Senior Research Fellow with the Child Health Promotion Research Centre.  Kate has taught Junior, Middle and Senior school students in Government, Catholic and Independent schools in three states of Australia. She has been a curriculum co-ordinator, Deputy Principal and Head of Boarding. Kate has also worked as the National Project Manger and curriculum writer for a resilience building, school and community based program. Kate currently Directs the Telstra Cyber Friendly Families Project and is Project Coordinator of the Cyber Friendly Schools Project. The focus of Kate’s work is translating research findings on Cyber Bullying into materials which support families, students and schools.
