A comprehensive and sustainable whole-school change initiative This workshop will take participants through a successful evidence-based whole-school approach to embedding Positive Education across the school and wider community. Starting with Appreciative Inquiry in 2010 to launching online Positive Parenting in 2015 the workshop will highlight key initiatives for students ,teachers and parents at both micro and macro levels . Reference will be made to key assessment measures and ongoing program evaluation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

About Steve

 

Dr Steve Zolezzi Ph.D Steve is a Registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is currently Head of Positive Education at Knox Grammar Sydney Australia.

Steve has presented at numerous National and International Conferences on Positive Psychology , Positive Leadership, and Boys Education. He presented at the First North American Positive Psychology National conference in Toronto (July 2012 ) and at the Australian Boarding Schools Association as Keynote Speaker(October 2012 ).

 

Steve has presented at IPPA in Los Angeles 2013, at ICAP ( Amsterdam ) and ECPP (Paris 2014 ) .He directed the First Australian Positive Education Conference in 2013

 

 

 

About Paula


Dr. Paula Robinson is the Managing Director of the Positive Psychology Institute, specializing in the science, application and integration of traditional Psychology and Positive Psychology. Paula’s cutting-edge PhD research has defined the concept and measurement of mental fitness, which she now applies effectively in her private practice, schools and organisations. Paula has worked on the NSW Department of Education & Training Panel and has completed numerous research projects as well as being invited to present her work in keynote presentations, workshops and consulting roles. Paula has authored many conference papers and co-authored several scientific articles and book chapters. In 2014, she was invited to present at conferences in Paris and Amsterdam on her work with schools and organizations. Paula is currently an invited lecturer for the University of Wollongong, Sydney Business School and the University of Melbourne. Australia.
Over the past 5 years Paula has also been working extensively with schools and local government, implementing both large and smaller scale Positive Education Programs for leaders, teachers, students and parents. In particular, she currently has a lead role in the design delivery and measurement of The Knox Grammar Positive Education Program in Sydney Australia – a proactive, multi level, strategic approach to creating a positive school climate to support academic performance, mental fitness, and the well-being of staff and students. The program is arguably the most comprehensive of its kind and is being measured longitudinally across 16 subjective and objective indices.
