Bill Boylan will offer a principal’s perspective

Bill Boylan has been in education for 25 years in the capacity of teacher, curriculum improvement officer, deputy principal and principal. I have worked in a range of country and metropolitan schools. I’m currently the principal of Tapping Primary School in the northern suburbs.

Tapping is a new school that opened in 2007. As foundation principal I was in a unique position to establish the purpose and ethos of the school around a strong commitment to the development of students social and emotional well being.

We have established working relationships with . Wilson McCaskilll of The Game Factory and Wise Solutions in helping us establish a strong foundation in this area. We have a comprehensive induction process for staff, students and parents and implement a range of programs that target student’s specific needs.
