MAIN STAGE CERCATROVA PRESENATION AND PANEL DISCUSSION

We are looking for presenters to participate in our Thursday main stage CircaTrova and panel discussion.

In the upper part of Vasari's 1563 fresco, ‘The Battle of Marciano’ there is a green flag which depicts the words ‘Cerca trova’ (‘seek and you shall find’). These enigmatic words are suggested to be a hint from Vasari that Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous lost painting ‘The Battle of Anghiari’ is hidden on a separate wall behind his own.

The Positive Schools CercaTrova offers delegates the opportunity to ‘seek and find’ information about what is effectively working to promote wellbeing and a love of learning in schools and colleges in 2017. We invite educators and school leaders to share information and stories about their wellbeing programs and initiatives on the Positive Schools main stage.  Each CercaTrova presenter will have five minutes to speak to the audience, without the use of slides or other visual aides.

The Positive Schools CercaTrova will be followed by a panel discussion involving all CercaTrova presenters. The panel discussion will ask “are wellbeing programs really the answer?”.

THE WHAT WORKS DISPLAY

We would also like to offer schools and colleges the opportunity to have a display table at the event (around the registration and refreshment area). Each display table will show case successful wellbeing and social and emotional learning in the schools’ classrooms and school communities.

All successful submissions will receive a display table within the registration and refreshment area of the event.  Delegates will be invited to visit the displays during registration, morning tea and lunch breaks. This means that staff manning displays can still attend presentations without losing the opportunity to show case their work
