We are pleased to announce that Professor Donna Cross will be presenting a talk at the 2010 Positive Schools Conference

 

 

Donna Cross is an Australian leader in promoting positive whole schools approaches to child wellbeing and positive social behaviour. She will present an address on finding effective solutions to bullying that everyone interested in a positive approach to bullying prevention will benefit from.

 

 

 

Donna Cross is the Foundation Professor of Child and Adolescent Health at the School of Exercise Biomedical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University and Director of the University’s Child Health Promotion Research Centre (CHPRC).

 

The CHPRC is a multi-disciplinary research centre involving over 30 researchers who conduct applied research with young people, their parents and teachers, especially in the areas of bullying prevention, injury control, mental health, and smoking cessation.

 

During the past 20 years Donna has conducted primary prevention behavioural research in the United States and Australia. She has also has been involved in research in Canada, Finland, South Africa, Austria, Poland, Japan, UK and Israel.
